North American grassland ecosystems are grazing obligate, meaning that herbivory was and is a key component in maintaining the health and vitality of these areas. While the large herds of native ruminants are no longer roaming the landscape; through observation, understanding of ecological principles, and the relationships between living organisms and their environment, GrazeTEK applies adaptive grazing management within the context of the geographical location to meet multiple objectives in complex ecosystems. Our experience with natural resource, livestock and grazing management offers a powerful opportunity to implement the positive environmental impact only large ruminants can offer the land manager while optimizing livestock health and performance.
